Welcome New Brothers of the Beta Omega Pledge Class!

On April 11th, the chapter welcomed 14 new members of the Theta Epsilon Brotherhood. Having completed their pledge process and passed their final test, these men are truly deserving of thier place in this chapter. Congratulations gentlemen, and welcome!

The Brothers of the Beta Omega Pledge Class are: Shawn Olsen, Aviv Halpern, Tom Schad, TJ Bollerman, Brian Mandel, Zach Erdmann, Gary Griffiths, Joey Kim, Chris Forsell, Kyle Gibson, Charlie Dale, Raymond Robie, Paul Vizza, and Ryan Tillis.

Delt Dodgeball 2010 Raises over $2,200

The sixth annual Delt Dodgeball event on April 11th raised over $2,200 for the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. With 25 teams participating, the event lived up to its billing as one of the most widely attended and succesful Greek philanthropy events on the campus of American University. The funds will be donated in the name of Theta Epsilon alumni Anthony Albanese.

Theta Epsilon wins Alumni Relations of the Year, Greek Week awards from AU

The Theta Epsilon chapter of Delta Tau Delta is the 2010 recipient of the Alumni Relations of the Year and Greek Week Champions awards from the Student Activities department at American University. Theta Epsilon was among very few chapters on campus to take home multiple awards this year. A special thank you to chapter adviser Adam Birnbaum and the rest of the Theta Epsilon Alumni Advising Team (Josh Gardner, Chris Smith, Jesse Epstein, Chris Litvin, and Ian Steff) for their efforts in earning the chapter this award.

Delta Tau Delta wins Greek Week 2010!

On Sunday, the men of the Theta Epsilon chapter, along with the sisters of Sigma Delta Tau and Sigma Phi Epsilon, won Greek Week 2010! Points were calculated with attendance at Greek Week events and competitions at the Greek Olympics (held on Saturday). This is the first Greek Week win since 2006, a year in which the chapter won a Hugh Shield's Award. A huge thank you to Brother Carter Gibson, Vice President of the Inter-fraternity Council, who was responsible for putting on this years event.

Welcome to the Beta Omega Pledge class

The chapter is thrilled to welcome the men of the Beta Omega pledge class to Theta Epsilon. These 15 men represent the best of what American University has to offer and will surely make great Delts in a short period of time. They have already set themselves apart as being the most outstanding members of the campus community, and it is our sincere hope that they will soon do so with the letters Delta Tau Delta on their chests. Open Recruitment, Wednesday 1/27/10 in Anderson 2U!

Recruitment is upon us! After a very successful first rush event, the men of the chapter are happy to welcome everyone to the second event on Wednesday, January 27th from 9:00PM to 11:00PM in Anderson 2U. Theta Epsilon participates in MLK Day of Service

On Monday, 8 men of the chapter donated their time and talents to help those less fortunate in the nation's capitol. They spent the day at an assisted living facility helping the elderly, entertaining with crafts and projects, and cleaning and painting the facility. As part of a larger initiative organized by American University, these men along with many other students did their part to better the community around them and help those in need in the spirit of Martin Luther King, Jr.
