Welcome Class of 2012

The leadership of the Theta Epsilon chapter of Delta Tau Delta fraternity would like to extend our warmest welcome to the American University Class of 2012. As you settle into life on campus, we hope that you take advantage of the endless opportunities available to you, especially those offered by the Greek community.

A college fraternity is a social organization founded in common beliefs, goals and aspirations of its members. Delta Tau Delta is an organization molded and driven by our mission statement, "Letters of Distinction. Lives of Excellence." The Greek letters bestowed upon our fraternity found their origins in 1858 when students at Bethany College stood up against injustice and redefined what it meant to be collegiate student. Our shared values of Truth, Courage, Faith, and Power give all Delts common threads to think and act upon as we pass through college and life. Brothers of Delta Tau Delta are indeed committed to excellence in all aspects of our lives: academic, athletic, social and character.

Delta Tau Delta has achieved much and grown by leaps and bounds over the past century and a half, but one thing remains constant: Our Brotherhood. Whether we're putting on another great Delt Dodgeball Event, taking a road trip to North Carolina or just throwing a football around on the Quad, it is the members of Delta Tau Delta who truly sustain the fraternity. As we start another school year, I am confident we will see both Delta Tau Delta and American University continue to prosper.

As always, if we can be of any assistance to you, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Email president@americandelts.org.

Once again, Welcome to AU!
